Nomophila noctuella (Rush Veneer)



The Rush Veneer (Nomophila noctuella) is a species of moth of the family Crambidae (The Crambidae are the grass moth family of Lepidoptera). It has a nearly cosmopolitan distribution. In Europe, it is a migratory species, travelling from southern Europe and North Africa to Northern Europe.
The wingspan is 26–32 mm. The moth flies from May to September depending on the location.
The larvae feed on Clover, Medicago, Polygonum, Wheat and Vaccinium. Wikipedia
